Trusts

Trusts - Consider protecting your assets for the future.

What will a Trust do for me?

There are three main types of Trust we use to protect your assets. They work in different ways and depend on your specific estate make up and certain eligibility criteria.

Protective Will Property Trusts (PWPT)

A Protective Will Property Trust, if you are married, will protect half of your property from a range of situations which may affect either you or your partner.

This is ideal for younger couples who still have mortgage outstanding and don't know what the future holds, or if you are on a second marriage and step children are involved.

Call me to discuss your specific circumstances to find out what a Protective Will Property Trust can do for you and your family.

Discretionary Will Trusts (DWT)

A Discretionary Will Trust can be used alongside a PWPT or stand alone, on passing away it will ensure your estate is protected for those you have chosen to inherit for many eventualities they may face.

This is ideal for people with property portfolios, high net value estates, or have concerns over the future of those who are set to inherit and need a safety net in place to secure their future.

Asset Trusts

An Asset Trust is very effective to secure your main residence from many external factors and ensuring your family and loved ones can benefit fully from your legacy.

There are specific criteria for your circumstances to be eligible for an Asset Trust, arrange an appointment to discuss the full extent to what the Asset Trust will do for you should you be eligible.
